Super Prof

Maximillian is one of our best German tutors. High-quality profile and excellent qualifications, organised and responsive to lesson requests, appreciated by their students!

About Maximillian

I have a passion for the German language, as well as the culture, history, and literature of the German speaking world. I am currently studying the language at degree level, alongside law, at the University of Bristol. I aim to project my passion for German onto my students.

About the lesson

All lessons will be tailored to individual needs, whereby I aim to highlight and enhance linguistic strengths and to turn over weaknesses. Lessons will target all skills associated with successful language learning: listening, reading, writing, and speaking, as well as translation and specialist writing (A Level film and literature essays). Lessons will last approximately 1 hour, though this is a flexible figure.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the teacher's students.

Perfect! Max is a really great teacher. I think he explains everything in a lot of detail, but also in a really interesting way. He has put a lot of effort into making the lessons super engaging through a personalised course, focussing on topics that particularly interest me. Highly recommend!

Owen's improvement over the months has been enormous and a testament to the masses of effort he has put into his German work. His attitude shows that he has a very bright future ahead. It has been a pleasure to teach Owen over these months.

Perfect! I was really struggling before I started my sessions with Max, he really helped me to fully understand what the examiners were looking for in the answers to questions and he really helped me to answer questions that I would always get stuck on and how to break them down so that they didn't seem to complex to answer. Overall Brilliant tutor and massively helped me save my A-levels

I found Max by looking for a suitable A Level German tutor for my son who had passed the GCSE, but was struggling with the jump in knowledge expectations in sixth form. With efficient and thorough weekly sessions, Max helped him develop a more diverse vocabulary through regular quizzes, and helped him understand the more complex grammar tricks. These sessions have given my son an incredible confidence boost for the course. Max has not only been an excellent tutor but has also motivated my son to pursue German beyond A Level with a newfound enthusiasm. Many thanks, Olivia.
