About Jack

I am a Masters Student at Lancaster University in the north of England and I have a first class degree in German, Spanish and Italian. I am a native English speaker and have worked in tutoring for over 5 years.

About the lesson

My lessons are extremely diverse and are set to the student’s level and needs. Classes vary from grammar classes, culture classes, speaking and exam preparation to vocabulary classes. I often use PowerPoints to help bring the visual element to the classroom but I will always take the student’s opinion into consideration when planning classes. Classes are 1 hour long and homework is 100% optional.

Perfect! Jack is a fantastic tutor. He is enthusiastic and very well informed about the curriculum and GCSE German exam requirements. Jack is successful at engaging with my 16yr old son and tailors his lessons according to his needs. Jack thoughtfully plans lessons in advance and will send relevant subject material in preparation for the lesson. My son finds Jack's lessons engaging, fun and extremely beneficial and educational. I would highly recommend Jack as a tutor.

Jack really helped me through my A-Level Spanish classes last year. I was really struggling with the grammar and my speaking and he explained things to me in an easy way so that when it came to my exam I felt prepared.
