About Georgia
I have taught English overseas in South Korea, and Taiwan, and have taught for many years with the Toronto District School Board in special education classrooms and grades K-6. I love to travel, be outdoors, and practice my art (I am currently working on sharpening my skills in linocut- send me a message and let's talk about what you're making!)

I believe that any student can learn and be successful if they are equipped with tools and skills that can help them achieve their true potential. I take a mentorship approach to tutoring, building a healthy and caring relationship with students so they can feel confident exploring and discovering their abilities.
I love project-based and STEAM learning, because I believe that students learn best when they are playing, and being creative, and having fun. I lean into student interest, and leverage it to create learning activities that target areas of need to make learning meaningful and accessible.
What sets me apart is the compassion and care I extend to all my students, and my ability to meet students where they are at. I adapt to various learning styles, creating a supportive environment where students feel heard, feel valued, build confidence and excel.
