About Rafeena
My name is Rafeena, and I hold a Master's degree in Geology with a strong academic record and practical experience in geological and geotechnical investigations. I am passionate about Earth sciences and committed to helping students understand complex concepts in a clear, engaging, and supportive environment.
My background includes research in sedimentology and paleoclimate studies, as well as professional experience in laboratory testing and geological analysis. I teach a wide range of subjects, including geology, oceanography, mineralogy, structural geology, environmental geology, and geophysics.
I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to individual needs and learning styles. My lessons emphasize conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and real-world applications rather than rote memorization. I strive to create a patient, encouraging, and professional atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong concepts through simple explanations, visual aids, diagrams, real-world examples, and interactive discussions. I encourage students to ask questions and develop analytical thinking rather than relying solely on memorization. Lessons are tailored to each student's learning style, academic goals, and pace.
A typical lesson lasts between 60 and 90 minutes and may include theory, problem-solving, revision exercises, and guidance for assignments or examinations.
I have experience in geotechnical testing, sedimentological research, environmental studies, and oceanography-related topics. My academic background covers mineralogy, petrology, structural geology, geophysics, paleoclimatology, sedimentology, environmental geology, and marine sciences.
My lessons are suitable for high school students, undergraduate geology students, and beginners who are passionate about Earth sciences.
