About José
In my training, I learned that each student is unique. In this way, I am open to learning about the needs of each one, and adapting my practices to better serve you.
For younger students (elementary school or previous), I always try to relate the content of the subject with what they are interested in, making the knowledge more attractive and interesting.
For more experienced students (high school or college entrance exam students), I try whenever possible to adapt my class to the student's needs, as well as apply assessments and exercises, to identify their previous knowledge, and observe the results of the studies.
I am open to the discussion of teaching methods, I can work following a didactic sequence with a lesson plan, or freely, approaching subjects at the student's request.
I like to recommend online content, both for entertainment purposes, such as movies, series and digital media that add something to the studies, and even texts, news articles, books, articles, handouts, video classes, etc.
I make my time available outside of class time to clarify doubts via text message (WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger).
I've already given tutoring to public school students, and participated in 3 internships in my Degree. I had a complete training in my course, which covered several teaching practices. I have extensive knowledge of Geography, both in the environmental and social areas, and I am constantly updating myself and studying more about it.
I can work with groups of students, which drastically reduces the value of classes.

I am a geography and pedagogy lover, graduated in Licentiate and finishing the Bachelor's Degree at UNESP in Rio Claro. I get along very well with children and teenagers. Having a great knowledge of my area, I believe the key to learning is patience, and persistence.
I try whenever possible to use digital materials to be able to engage students even more, applying geographic knowledge in examples that relate to everyday life. I am also available to help with any doubts outside of class hours, via text message. I work with younger students, college entrance exam students, or anyone else with the need/interest, with great pleasure!

Prices are open to negotiation.
In case of scheduling an in-person class, I charge the cost of round-trip transportation (usually I use transportation services per application).
I can work with groups of students, which drastically reduces the value of classes. (For example, a group of 5 students is possible to make R$15.00/h for each one).
I can also propose a sequence of targeted studies with exercises, for greater student autonomy in studies, but with less class time, and availability to answer questions through WhatsApp 24h.
