About Zubair

Hi, I'm Zubair — a dedicated and high-achieving tutor specialising in GCSE Maths, Further Maths, Statistics, and Triple Science. I’m currently studying A-Levels at Brampton Manor Academy, one of the top sixth forms in the UK, and I’m predicted A*A*A*. With grade 9s in Maths, Statistics, Further Mathematics and triple sciences, I know what it takes to succeed — and I’m here to help you do the same. I’ve supported students through peer tutoring, mentoring, and academic coaching. My approach is calm, structured, and supportive. I focus on building real understanding, strong exam technique, and long-term confidence. Whether you're aiming for a grade 9 or working towards a secure pass, I’ll meet you where you are and help you improve steadily, step by step.

About the lesson

I aim to make Maths and Science feel less overwhelming and more logical. I break complex ideas down into smaller, manageable steps, helping students understand why things work — not just how to memorise answers. My lessons are structured, exam-focused, and tailored to each student’s pace and learning style. Techniques & Methodology I use a range of proven strategies, including: Active recall and spaced repetition to strengthen memory Step-by-step breakdowns of tough problems and concepts Past paper practice to improve exam technique and timing Worked examples and interactive problem-solving to build confidence Targeted revision plans based on your strengths and weaknesses Whether we’re covering atomic structure or algebra, I focus on building real understanding and exam fluency. Lesson Length Most lessons are 60 minutes long, with the option for 90-minute sessions when doing deeper revision, multi-subject catch-up, or extended exam practice. Qualifications & Experience I’m currently studying A-Level Maths, Further Maths, and Sciences at Brampton Manor Academy and am predicted A*A*A*. I achieved 9s at GCSEs. Also supporting other students through peer mentoring and academic coaching. I understand what it’s like to be on the student side of things — and how to explain topics in a way that actually makes sense.
