About Ollie
2nd year Automotive Engineering student at Loughborough University, with A/8s in GCSE Maths, Physics and Chemistry and IB Higher Level Physics (7) and Maths (6). I’ve taught Maths lessons to Years 7-9 at a local primary school and led hands-on Physics sessions for students with additional needs at my school, adapting explanations to different learning styles. I’m patient, clear, and genuinely enjoy breaking down tricky concepts — whether that’s calculus or circuits — into something that clicks. Outside study I’m a motorsport enthusiast, which comes in handy for making maths and physics feel relevant to the real world.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s exam board and target grade. I start by identifying gaps in understanding, then work through core concepts with worked examples before moving to exam-style questions. I set homework between sessions to reinforce learning and track progress against past paper performance. For Physics especially, I like linking concepts to real-world applications — motorsport, engineering — to make abstract ideas stick. Sessions are relaxed but focused, and I encourage questions at every stage rather than just working through content.
