About Tharushi
I am a student currently studying Accounting and Finance at the University of Hertfordshire. I am passionate about helping younger students build confidence in maths through simple and clear explanations. I achieved a Grade A in GCSE Maths and understand how challenging the subject can feel, so I aim to make learning easier and less stressful. I am patient, friendly, and focused on helping students improve step by step at their own pace.

I take a patient and friendly approach to tutoring, focusing on helping students understand maths step by step rather than memorising answers. I break topics down into simple, clear explanations and use practice questions to build confidence and improve skills gradually. Lessons are usually 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the student’s needs, and I always adapt my teaching style to match their pace. I achieved a Grade A in GCSE Maths and have strong knowledge of foundation-level and KS2/KS3 topics, so I am confident supporting younger learners. My lessons are mainly for primary and lower secondary students who need extra help or want to improve their confidence in maths in a calm and supportive environment.
