About Phoenix
I am a Year 13 student who has recently completed my A-levels in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Music. I have always enjoyed learning and am passionate about helping others develop confidence in their studies.
Having recently completed my own GCSEs and A-levels, I understand the challenges students face and the importance of finding revision techniques that work for each individual. Over the years, I have developed a range of effective study and exam strategies, and I am keen to share these with my students alongside helping them build a strong understanding of the subject content.
I enjoy making challenging topics more approachable and believe that with the right support, patience, and encouragement, every student can make meaningful progress. My aim is to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and achieving their academic goals.

I typically offer one-hour lessons tailored to each student's individual needs and areas for improvement.
For Mathematics, I focus on strengthening understanding through targeted practice questions. I begin by explaining the relevant methods and working through examples before guiding students as they solve problems independently, helping them build confidence and develop strong problem-solving skills.
For Physics and Chemistry, I believe a solid understanding of the underlying concepts is essential. I help students develop this understanding by breaking down complex ideas into simple explanations and encouraging them to create their own analogies, making difficult topics easier to remember and apply in exams.
I have completed A-levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, giving me a strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum. I also have experience tutoring my sister throughout her GCSE studies, helping her build confidence and improve her understanding across these subjects.
My lessons are primarily aimed at students in Years 9, 10, and 11 preparing for their GCSEs, although I am also happy to tutor younger students who would like additional support or wish to get ahead.
