How was I able to teach myself Spanish in just a year and achieve an A* in both the GCSE and A Level?

Why do Spanish speakers constantly assume that I am a native Spanish speaker after never having lived there?

After having taught myself Spanish from scratch in a year and achieving such high grades that I was able to go on and study it at a top 10 Russell Group university, I know just how difficult it can be to learn languages through the school system.

I myself, failed at French and German GCSE and had branded myself as somebody who "just wasn't a languages person", when in reality, the truth was that my classes just weren't suited to my learning style and truly optimised for rapid language learning.

As a result, I have become very passionate about helping other Spanish students uncover their true potential and achieve grades that they may have previously thought to be impossible.

I achieve this through sharing the the alternative language learning methods and strategies that personally enabled me to learn Spanish so quicklyand adapting them to your individual learning style and syllabus.

About the lesson

In my tutoring sessions, I take a very different approach to language teaching, incorporating the methods & strategies that enabled me to excel in Spanish in such a short period of time.

My lessons are designed to be directly suited to your specific syllabus and are specifically tailored to suit your learning style, unlike the typical school / group lesson. I also have a major focus on learning through speaking as oral and listening skills tend to be the most underdeveloped in typical language classes.

I understand that when it comes to languages, we don't always understand things the first time! My lessons are therefore a safe space to make mistakes and go at your own pace, as that is the only way that true progress actually comes about.
