About Nick
I was in school working towards GCSEs when the Berlin Wall was first opened. The following day my German teacher didn’t teach her normal lesson, but spoke about how different life was then between East and West Germany, and how she could now see everything changing. That one lesson switched me on to having a passion for learning German, which I kept studying to Masters level at University. I have lived in Germany, have worked for a German company in London, and have had business clients in Germany and Switzerland before. Yes, many Germans speak English very well, but learning a bit or a lot of German helps to appreciate the varied culture, history, food and lifestyles in German speaking countries. If you want to learn about the country of Germany as well as the language I am happy to help!
