About Leona
I’m a 16-year-old Year 12 student currently studying A Levels, and I’m passionate about English Literature. I want to teach because I know what it feels like to struggle with English and feel a little lost. I was lucky enough to discover how enjoyable Literature could be, and I want to inspire other students to feel the same. I’m friendly, approachable and not intimidating, making lessons feel comfortable and relaxed. My aim is to help students build confidence, enjoy English and realise that they are capable of achieving more than they think.

My passion for English Literature is what makes my lessons engaging, focused and personalised. Having achieved a Grade 9 myself, I understand the exact strategies needed to reach the highest marks. I adapt my teaching to each student, helping them genuinely enjoy Literature while creating a clear GCSE plan tailored to their needs. With commitment, consistent hard work and following the strategies I teach, students can build the confidence, knowledge and exam technique needed to aim for a Grade 9.
