About GARETH

I work with motivated students who want structured, measurable improvement in Mathematics with a repertoir of over 30 students
Proven system focused on moving students toward A range and above in Methods and Specialist.

My approach is systematic and syllabus-aligned. Every session targets assessed content, reinforces classroom learning, and builds exam-ready problem-solving ability. I don’t rely on generic worksheets or unfocused homework help. Students follow a clear progression with authored resources, weekly objectives, and tracked performance.

Each student receives:
• Structured sessions aligned to the QCAA syllabus
• Targeted practice drawn from authored materials
• Ongoing progress tracking and feedback
• Exam and internal assessment preparation
• Clear weekly goals and accountability

I currently support students from Years 10–12 in:

• Mathematical Methods
• Specialist Mathematics
• Senior Mathematics foundation support

I also offer introductory CAD support for first-year architecture students.

My focus is simple: clarity, consistency, and measurable academic improvement.

I work best with students who are prepared to engage consistently and take ownership of their improvement.

About the lesson

I run structured, syllabus-aligned sessions designed to produce measurable improvement in student performance.

Each lesson is targeted to current classroom content and assessment requirements. Rather than generic homework help, students follow a clear progression using authored resources, weekly objectives, and ongoing performance tracking.

My teaching focuses on:
• Breaking complex concepts into exam-ready methods
• Reinforcing school content in the correct syllabus order
• Identifying and closing knowledge gaps quickly
• Building independent problem-solving ability
• Preparing students specifically for internal assessments and exams

Students are regularly assessed so we can track improvement and adjust strategy where needed. This ensures sessions remain focused, efficient, and results-driven.

For design and technology students, I also provide structured support in CAD workflows relevant to first-year architecture programs, including Inventor, Revit, AutoCAD, Illustrator, and ArchiCAD.

My goal is simple: consistent, accountable academic progress — not just short-term homework help.
