About Poppy
I am a gap year student who has just finished their A levels! At school I took Biology, Chemistry and Latin and was awarded 3 A’s which secured my offer to study Medicine next year.
My inspiration for teaching Latin came from a student teacher (also in her gap year) whom prepared me for 13+ exams. I had not learnt Latin previously and had I not had lessons I probably would have never learnt this fascinating language. I would love to have the opportunity to introduce and teach it to other children so that they can love it too.
I plan my lessons alongside chapters in the text book and align vocabulary and grammar tests so that my students are using their time efficiently, teaching them strategies to revise the content (and keeping them up to date!).

Fun, interactive lessons incorporating knowledge consolidating vocabulary and grammar tests at the end of every lesson.
Starting with a phrase of the day, the sessions will closely go through the syllabus to thoroughly prepare your children (using certified textbooks).
Sessions are 30 minutes or 1 hour depending on the child’s availability (so that the lessons can be squeezed into busier lives!).
