About Georgia

Hi, I’m Georgia, a 20-year-old tutor passionate about helping students reach their full academic potential! I’m coming out of a gap year and have always been drawn to education and supporting others in their learning journeys. During my time in school, I was frequently recognised for my exceptional patience and essay-writing skills. Teachers often praised my ability to break down complex topics and used my work as examples to guide my peers. However, I also know what it’s like to struggle academically—not because of a lack of knowledge, but because of challenges like exam stress and a lack of confidence in my abilities. There were times I felt like I couldn’t reach what I was capable of, even though I had the understanding. Those experiences have shaped my tutoring approach, as I know how important it is to build confidence alongside knowledge! I believe that every student learns differently, and I take pride in tailoring my lessons to individual needs. Whether it’s through providing support with note-taking, listening to concerns, or explaining concepts in a way that works for you, my goal is to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where you feel empowered to succeed. I’ve also worked closely with students with autism and ADHD, so I understand the value of patience and adapting to different learning styles. Most students know the right answer the first time—they just need someone to help them feel confident in saying it. No matter the personal struggles, I’m here to help you unlock your potential and achieve your goals.

About the lesson

Friendly and Patient Tutor – Spelling, Reading, Writing, GCSE English, Biology, Geography – £15/hr Hi! I’m an experienced tutor offering one-hour lessons (flexible scheduling) to help with spelling, reading comprehension, writing, and GCSE English, Biology, and Geography. I take a patient and open approach, with experience supporting students with Autism and ADHD. I also provide guidance with note-taking and always listen to students’ concerns to tailor lessons to their needs.
