About Amber
My career and education has allowed me to explore and contribute to various areas of the creative arts. I’ve worked professionally in graphic design, developing visual content for print and digital media, and studied in video game development, where I contributed to visual storytelling and interactive design. My experience in theatre has deepened my understanding of performance, set & costume design, and collaborative creativity. Currently I am studying my MA in Costume Design, and am still actively expanding my knowledge of art in various forms. These diverse disciplines inform my teaching practice, allowing me to support students in finding their own voice through a broad spectrum of visual and expressive forms.

Any artistic subject can have a variety of approaches, which is why I let the student's work guide the session. I combine their teacher's feedback with my own knowledge to help advise on the next best steps to take with their projects. I can tutor from Year 9 up, and have worked previously with students 1 on 1. My sessions can be up to an hour and a half, to ensure thorough teaching of techniques or software.
