About Lara

I hold a Master’s in French Language and Literature and have been teaching beginners for over 4 years. I love combining French lessons with creative hobbies like painting, knitting, and gardening. My approach is patient and humorous, helping students feel relaxed while learning. I use project-based activities, visual aids, and simple narratives to make grammar and vocabulary approachable. Students gain confidence in discussing their favorite pastimes in French. Lessons are designed to be interactive and enjoyable, so language feels practical and fun. I tailor each session to your interests and pace, ensuring steady progress. My students leave lessons motivated to practice and share their passions in French. I celebrate milestones and encourage creativity throughout the learning process. Together, we explore how hobbies and language can come alive. French becomes not only a skill but a source of joy. Let’s discover how your favorite activities can inspire your French journey.

About the lesson

I guide students to connect French with France’s art and history. Lessons focus on describing artworks, understanding historical events, and expressing aesthetic appreciation. My methodology is interactive and emphasizes rich vocabulary for confident conversation. Grammar and pronunciation are taught naturally, supporting fluency. I work closely with Travelers and Heritage Learners, guiding them step-by-step through cultural topics. We explore French painting, sculpture, architecture, and historical narratives. Students learn to articulate observations, interpretations, and opinions clearly. Visual aids, narratives, and authentic sources enhance engagement. Lessons are flexible and tailored to personal interests and goals. You’ll gain the skills to discuss galleries, exhibitions, and landmarks with confidence. I emphasize accuracy, clarity, and expressive communication in every session. Curiosity, reflection, and discussion are encouraged throughout. Together, we’ll explore France’s cultural heritage while developing fluent, natural French.
