About Jessica

I graduated from New York University and, as a believer in lifelong learning, have continued to attain numerous credits in information-dense subjects that influence and enrich my family's life each day. Engaging further study with Rutgers' Graduate School of Education, I have served various ages and subjects as a room teacher and small group and individual tutor. I have particular emphasis with reading and math interventions, as well as writing and test preparation.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I get to know my scholars and how to arrive at their academic growth with enthusiasm and confidence on their side. I am able to serve grade levels 3-12 in literacy, with various added proofreading and writing support available for college ages and beyond. I see reading and writing as a tool that fosters learning and confidence in every subject besides it, particularly content-saturated subjects. While including crucial views to reading and writing benefits learning tracks across these subjects, it is especially incredible when scholars are able to focus in on the numerous priorities and subsets of these critical skills.

I have had the opportunity to work with Jessica through the New Jersey Tutoring Corps, which is a statewide, high-dosage tutoring program for the scholars of New Jersey.
As a valued tutor, Jessica was able to use the I-Ready Math and Literacy program to develop and implement well thought out lessons and interact with the scholars to develop all of their needs.
