About Lin
I am a retired University Lecturer who has taught accounting from first introduction to graduation as well as researching specific aspects of accounting for publication and presentation. I think I can help students to learn and understand accounting in New Zealand.

Accounting students yr 9-13 and beyond I have taught at Uni level for 26 years and co-authored 2 Introductory Textbooks as well as the support teaching materials. I take a theory/practice/theory approach to teaching. Principle based. I firmly believe that students learn best when engaged with the material that they are trying to master.

Perfect! Lin is able to give examples of what would be suitable to you in real life which then align withe the learning outcomes. There is good discussion as to "the why" for accounting. The method of explanation, demonstration and practice is very useful.
