About Afiya
I am a secondary school teacher of economics, I love to teach and I have a passion for economics. I have taught for 5 years in schools & colleges across the UK and in Europe. Previous students have gone on to secure A grades in their A-level/ IB exams and secured places at Warwick, LSE and other UK universities studying economics. I am keen more students study economics further as I see it as a useful problem-solving tool. I am keen to incorporate ideas from the wider economic environment into lessons, in my view this gives students more opportunities to apply economic theory. My best advice to students is to practise answering the exam questions in half the required time. In my view good exam techniques are just as important as subject knowledge.
