About Dillon
For the past 2 years I have been teaching students. I have worked as a Teacher's assistant for upper level science courses at School of Mines, a tutor at Jefferson Jr./Sr. High, and as a private tutor meeting 1 on 1 with students. My students have blazed through classes they were worried about failing, scored 26 and higher on the ACT math and science portions, and have considered going into math and science themselves.

I graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. I create a comfortable and relaxed environment in my lessons, as students learn more easily when they don't have things that can draw their attention away from the lesson. I identify what methods and techniques a student works well with by exposing them to different styles within the early sessions. I can use this information to tailor the content or delivery of the lesson to work with a students strengths and preferences. Students leave lessons feeling confident to take on any challenge!
