About Mathilde

Hello everyone!

I'm Mathilde, I'm a French native speaker and I have been a French private tutor since 2017. I have had the privilege to help a lot of students with their French exams (KS3,GCSE (AQA, Pearson Edexcel), A-level) and to teach French to children and to adults (from all ages).

About the lesson

- The first lesson will always be about introducing yourself in French. I will correct your pronunciation and your mistakes if needed.
- Then, depending on what you are looking for, I will adapt my lessons to your needs. If you need help with your exams, we will work on what you have done at school and work on past exam papers (reading, writing, listening and speaking)
- If you want to learn conversational French, we will start to learn the basic vocabulary and the tenses so you can make complete and correct sentences.
- If you already know some French, we will start based on what you already know and mainly work on the grammar and on the vocabulary.

Of course, if you have a specific request, I will adapt my lessons for you.

Mathilde is an extremely proficient tutor who coached me through French and Spanish exams. She makes lessons fun while maximising the time available. She has a great ability to detect areas of weakness and turn them into strengths! I would recommend her as a tutor for all ages and all levels.
