About Harold
A Dutchman than lived in remote areas in South Africa, in the Limpopo province and in cosmopolitan Johannesburg. Then over 9 years in Brazil, I have encountered or even lived in diverse environments. This is one of the reasons why I am able to speak many languages fluently.
With an unique methodology, it provides a great balance of free-flowing conversation and structure. I am creative, practical and reliable.

My methodology revolves around constant practice. As a teacher, I have found the greatest success from my students comes when the content of lessons replicates their use of English at work or for tests such as IELTS - whether that be an essay, examination or even dissertation.
In my early sessions, I test various methods to determine your unique learning style, and then tailor the remaining sessions to make the most effective use of your time. I have been privately tutoring English for nine years.
My sessions are proven to help you see huge improvements in your creative writing, essay writing, and interpretation and comprehension of contemporary and classical texts. Lasting between 30 and 60 minutes, my sessions are a must for those who want to see advancement in exam results, or even just gain more confidence in particular aspects.
