About Vaisnavi

Hey there! I’m currently studying Applied Linguistics and Business at UUM, and honestly, English has always been my thing. I got 30/30 for my SPM English oral and an A+ overall, which really pushed me to share what I know with others. I’m a bit chaotic, but in the fun, lively way! My classes are full of energy, conversation, and laughter because I believe learning works best when it’s engaging and feels real. I love helping students find their voice in English and feel proud of their progress, no matter their level. English isn't just a language, it's a skill set that requires passion. And when it's unlocked, you'll feel wonders, I assure you;)

About the lesson

Hi there, I'm eager to teach English for primary to upper secondary students through structured yet engaging online lessons that blend clarity, creativity, and real-world use. Each class lasts about 1 hour 30 minutes, divided into three parts:

1. Warm-up & recap (15 mins) — quick review games, quizzes, or conversation to refresh what was learned.

2. Core lesson (60 mins) — focused on grammar, writing, comprehension, or speaking, depending on the student’s needs. I use slides, visual aids, and examples from movies, songs, and current topics to make English feel relevant.

3. Wrap-up (15 mins) — short exercises, feedback, and goal-setting for the next session.

My teaching method combines a communicative approach (lots of speaking and interaction) with task-based learning (activities that build real skills). I often utilize online platforms to make quizzes like Kahoot or Quizizz to keep lessons active and digital-friendly.

I’m currently pursuing a degree in Applied linguistics and business administration, and my lessons are designed for students aged 10–17 who want to improve English for school, exams, or personal growth; all in a lively, encouraging space where mistakes are part of the fun!
