About Olivia

I have wanted to be a teacher all my life. So, I worked hard. I studied hard. I challenged myself a LOT, and I still challenge myself every day to do better. I am currently a Secondary school teacher, but I am also about to start my Master's degree! I am a firm believer in EDUCATION for GROWTH - be it personal or academic. Learning stimulates the brain, gets the cogs turning, and I specifically love that learning can be a huge confidence booster. I love watching people get things RIGHT. Boosting confidence means a lot to me - trust me, I have lacked confidence throughout my education journey (I still need them to this day!), and so I know how important it is to experience them from time to time. Being that support, that scaffold, that helps you to feel confident - that is my goal. I know how good it feels to get things right, so let's make that happen!

About the lesson

Being a Spanish teacher from 9am-3pm every day means I am already pretty good at identifying misconceptions and areas of improvement. We will work through these together, using fun and challenging tasks that stimulate the brain and help push grades further. Lessons with me tend to last between 45 minutes to an hour, but can be adapted to suit various needs. I can cater my lessons to any age from 11 years (Y7) to 16 years (Y11). I specialise in teaching AQA and Edexcel GCSE Spanish, but I can adapt my resources to fit any exam board. I am a young teacher, who knows how to establish rapports with challenging pupils. I offer my time to those who want to do better, and those who may be a little more reluctant to learn. If I had to summarise my personality in 3 words they would be: determined, bubbly, proactive.
