About Cerys
My name is Cerys Finch, pronounced Keris. I am a British born teacher, currently living in Australia. I have worked with children since I was 15 years old and have spent the last 7 years working as a full time teacher in the UK. I am extremely passionate about helping children and watching them succeed. Outside of teacher, I am a jiu jitsu athlete and currently hold my purple belt.

I have a caring, growth mindset approach to teaching the foundation blocks of learning. I deliver bespoke lessons that meet the needs and abilities of the pupils that I teach. I have a strong background in developing mathematical understanding in lower primary and have worked with children that have a range of needs. I am supportive and encouraging and believe that children should enjoy their learning. I have a pedagogical approach that ensures children feel success in their learning.
