About Emma

I am currently teaching in Year 6 in a school in Cambridgeshire where I am the Head of Year. Prior to this, I was an international teacher in a private school in Italy. I have almost a decade of teaching experience throughout KS1, LKS2 and UKS2. My teaching experience consists of in class teaching, online teaching and hybrid blended teaching. I enjoy inspiring children and motivating them to achieve to the best of their ability. My motto is 'Believe and you'll achieve'.

About the lesson

I am very passionate about child centred learning and developing children's love of learning through curiosity and questioning. Inspiring children to delve deep in a problem and reason their thoughts and answers builds confident and competent little people for the future. Sessions guide children through previously taught concepts or ideas to consolidate learning and understanding. These are then built upon and developed further using this previous knowledge to scaffold new learning and understanding.
