About Steve
I have a First Class Masters Degree in Theoretical Physics, and I then completed my teacher training / PGCE at Oxford. I have worked as a teacher of Physics in schools for 10 years, have been teaching A level Maths and Further Maths for several years now, and have also been Head of Department in schools. In helping to run a 6th form, I am also well acquainted with the UCAS process and Oxbridge entrance exams, and ran a programme helping students get in to Oxbridge and Russell Group universities. I have also worked asa private tutor for a year, mostly teaching A level Physics and Maths.

I work very hard to get to know my students - a real bonus of individual or small group tuition over school classes - and as I know the material for the courses so well, I tailor what I do to fit what each student needs. I can teach the whole course from scratch if needs be, provide detailed advice on particular syllabus points or exam technique, help students practise - helping with whatever they need for whatever stage they are at.
