I am fully qualified to teach learners between the ages of 10 and 15 and have experience tutoring learners to age 17.
By making use of tried and tested teaching strategies, including Differentiated Instruction, or structuring lesson to accommodate the needs and learning style of each individual learner, as well as Inquiry-based Learning, which encourages learners to ask questions, think critically and work together to find answers and solutions. In group lessons, I have found that combining this approach with Co-operative learning and teamwork yields remarkable results.
The component which sets my teaching is my thorough integration of technology in my lessons. Modern technology has provided countless new resources, teaching approaches and opportunities for discovery than ever thought possible.
