About Cristina
I am a passionate teacher, I love this job with all my heart and I can tell you it is one of the most beautiful jobs out there!
I knew I wanted to do this job since I was 11 and I am incredibly lucky to have studied in Granada and Cambridge, two top-notch universities.
I graduated in 2004 and I have been teaching ever since. I also teach English as a foreign language - it is my second language- and Italian. I can also speak French so we could have the lessons in any of those languages, and I understand Brazilian Portuguese as well.
Many of my students end up being my friends, which is a total honour for me. My lessons are not only about learning, but about feeling comfortable, safe and motivated! So it is not only about being a teacher and a student: we will be two people working towards the same objective!
I have a 100% success rate, so you are in safe hands.

How my lessons work:
We have a chat to start with, so you can tell me your specific needs and I can prepare the right materials for you.
I will send you our meeting room and our book directly to your email. You don't need to buy anything.
The lessons are typically divided in theory and practice. First of all, I explain something to you, then we practice together.
During the lesson, I will be writing down all mistakes that you make and we will revise them during the last part of the session.
I expect my students to do homework, to progress faster. This is a general outline of the lesson but it can change depending on the specific needs of the student.
Now let me answer some possible questions you may have:
- How long does a lesson last? If you want to have a lesson weekly, then I recommend 1 h and 30 minutes. If you want to meet twice, then two sessions of one hour. Any other, we can discuss during the first meeting (for intensive courses, for instance).
- What levels do you teach and what ages? All levels, all ages. From absolute beginners to DELE C2 preparation. I have taught every age, from 3 to 80 years old. I have also taught many different nationalities, such as Thai, Canadian, Dutch, Russian, Greek, Arabic and a long etcetera!
- Are you fully qualified? Yes, I studied in two universities, in Granada and Cambridge. Also, reviews are available upon request.
- What if I can't take a scheduled lesson? You can change it until Sunday, based on my availability. There is a cancellation fee for last minute cancellations - the day before the lesson-.
- How many lessons will I need to reach my objective? That depends on your time, availability, skill and effort. If you do everything I request from you, and you are good at languages, you will progress really fast!
