I currently work with a selection of young people and mature students who are aiming to gain their GCSE in English Literature and Language, A-Levels and I also work with several students studying for their level 2 functional skills in English. I plan, develop, produce and deliver all of my lessons.

I am fully qualified English Teacher who has had 5 years in the Education sector. I also have a Masters degree in English Literature and Politics. I have recently changed to private tuition due to the belief that young people work better and achieve more with a truly personalised, creative and individualised approach which can only be achieved through 1-1 or in small groups sessions. I am experienced in teaching KS3, GCSE, A-Level, Functional Skills (Level 1+2) and English as an Additional Language.
I have taught a range of students including pupils who are highly academically capable, students with SEND and EAL needs and I am therefore more flexible in my teaching manner. I believe an open, honest and respectful approach with my students is best way to ensure that the students needs are put first which may not always be the case in a whole class environment.
