About Hammad Ul

Hello! I am a dynamic, hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly analytical IT professional working on desktop software, web applications, and data integration infrastructures. I have been developing professionally for 5 years but tinkering since a kid. I started in tech with freelance services and part-time positions during college.
I have a bit of a diverse job history. I have had positions in help desk, software/web design, web app development, database developer, database administrator, data analyst, Information Technology Trainer, and computer science lecturer. I can help everywhere in the stack and I love wearing multiple hats to an extent. Although, I do think my strongest skills are in software/web engineering, data modeling, data integration, and problem-solving.

About the lesson

To teach at undergraduate and graduate level in areas allocated and review from time to time through feedbacks.
• Involving students deeply in lectures and encourage their active participation.
• Sharing the progress of the critical assessments, assignments and provide guidance where needed.
• To carry out research and produce publications, or other research outputs, in line with personal objectives agreed in the Staff review process.
• To obtain research funding support.
• To engage with the broader scholarly and professional communities.
• To supervise or assist with supervision of undergraduate, taught graduate (Masters) students.
• To contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of a high-quality curriculum.
• To assist in the development of learning materials, preparing schemes of work, and maintaining records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance.
• To participate in departmental and faculty seminars aimed at sharing research outcomes and building interdisciplinary collaboration within and outside the department.
• To participate in the development, administration, and marking of exams and other assessments.
• To provide pastoral care and support to students.
• To participate in the administration of the department’s programs of study and other activities as requested.
• To contribute to departmental, faculty, or working groups or committees as requested.
• To maintain own continuing professional development.
• To actively follow and promote policies, including Equal Opportunities.
• Performing Invigilation duty during the examinations.
