About Parthivi
Hi, I'm Parthivi, a Computer Science graduate working as a freelance designer and front-end developer, with two years of teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
I've taught students from very different backgrounds: high schoolers curious about design, university students polishing portfolios, and professionals switching careers into UX or web.
What I enjoy most is making technical topics feel approachable - design and code can seem intimidating at first, but they really aren't once you have the right guide.
Outside of teaching, I take on freelance design and development projects, which keeps my skills current and means you're learning what's actually used in the industry today. Looking forward to working with you!

My lessons are practical and project-based, where you learn by building, not just watching. In a typical session, we'll spend a few minutes reviewing what you've worked on since last time, then dive straight into hands-on work: designing in Figma, exploring Adobe tools, or coding real layouts in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
I adapt the pace to your level. Beginners start with the fundamentals of design thinking and tools. Intermediate students focus on UX flows, prototyping, and clean front-end code. Advanced learners work on portfolio-ready projects, React, and no-code platforms like Webflow and WordPress.
What sets me apart is that I teach both design and development, so I can take you from a blank canvas all the way to a live website. Lessons are open to school students, university students, working professionals, and anyone making a career switch into design or web.
