I didn’t start my career in cybersecurity.

I began as a Business Analyst, working closely with stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions, and managing risk from a commercial lens. My turning point came when I was involved in projects where security gaps became visible — not because teams lacked talent, but because security wasn’t embedded early enough. I saw firsthand how business decisions, architecture choices, and risk oversight directly impacted organisational resilience. That experience changed my trajectory.

I made a deliberate transition into cybersecurity — investing in deep technical capability, governance expertise, and hands-on security engineering across cloud, threat management, and secure system design. Today, I’ve spent over a decade securing complex systems across public and private sectors.

I now mentor others because I understand what it means to pivot. I know the doubts, the noise, the overwhelming advice, and the fear of “starting over.” I also know that many professionals already possess powerful, transferable skills — they just need clarity, structure, and strategic positioning.

My mission is simple: to help experienced professionals transition into cybersecurity with confidence, direction, and credibility — without discarding the value they already bring.
