About Doris
Whenever anybody sings next to me, their singing improves! And I sing from the spirit foremost, which tells me about and helps me with technique. Even high notes! I love moving a bit while singing to keep flow going. My students have always performed well on stage. I can even teach someone to sing in tune!

My lessons always start with intention and attention to the breath leaning into the body our heart mind and soul. I’m very flexible in whatever the student wants to bring in. I lost my voice once! So I know what it takes to correct the voice. Individualized plans. I love jazz pop folk light opera, rock renaissance baroque music Celtic and originals. I performed at many famous festivals in Michigan and California. I play harp lute piano And one of my favorite things is to teach students how to accompany themselves on piano. And learn how to make up their own songs. I have music on Spotify, YouTube channel and all streaming platforms. (concealed information)
