About Jimmy

From my early days swinging a ball for KV School, Colaba,Mumbai to taking on Premier Cricket in Melbourne and Wales, UK, it's been a wild cricketing journey! As an opening fast bowler and a middle-order batsman, I’ve faced everything from Mumbai’s intense heat to the unpredictable Welsh weather.

Still contracted to play professionally in Melbourne and Wales, I’ve spent 12 years in Melbourne, and along the way, I’ve developed a serious passion for coaching. Over the past 9 years (8 in Melbourne, 1 in Wales), I’ve helped players from all walks of life improve their game, sharing the tricks and tactics I’ve picked up on the pitch.

Now, as my family and I make the exciting move back to India, I’m bringing all this cricketing experience to Jalandhar, ready to offer coaching to players of all levels. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your game to the next level, I’m here to help you hit the sweet spot—both literally and metaphorically!

About the lesson

As a cricket coach with over 9 years of experience, my coaching style revolves around creating a positive, inclusive, and growth-focused environment for players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a young beginner just learning how to grip the bat, a teenager fine-tuning technique, or a senior player mastering advanced strategies, I tailor my approach to each individual’s needs and goals.

I believe in building strong fundamentals while making sure every player feels supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow. My coaching is a blend of technical instruction, strategic insight, and mental toughness, all while keeping sessions engaging and fun. Whether coaching boys, girls, men, or women, I adapt my methods to suit different learning styles and physical capabilities, fostering confidence and improvement in every player.

Cricket is a team sport, but I always focus on the personal development of each player, ensuring they leave each session with new skills, a deeper love for the game, and a clearer understanding of their strengths. My ultimate goal is to inspire every student to push beyond their limits and reach their full potential, both on and off the field.
