About Caitlyn
I have a deep passion and genuine love for Accounting. Accounting is not just a subject to me — it is something I truly enjoy and understand.
I choose to teach because I know what it feels like to struggle, to want to improve, and to feel stuck not knowing how to get better. I also know how frustrating Accounting can be when it isn’t explained properly. That experience is what drives me to tutor — I want to be the helping hand I once needed.
My goal is to help students realize that Accounting is not impossible. With the right guidance, clear explanations, and enough practice, any learner can improve and succeed. I teach with patience, understanding, and encouragement, making sure each student feels supported and confident.
I don’t just teach to get students through tests and exams — I teach to help them believe in their ability, understand the subject, and feel proud of their progress.

I offer private Accounting tutoring for Grade 10–12 learners, with a strong focus on building confidence, understanding, and exam success.
My teaching approach is practical and example-driven, while still ensuring that theory is fully understood. I believe Accounting only becomes easy once students understand why things are done, not just how. As a UJ Accounting Science student and former Matric Accounting award winner, I understand both the high school curriculum and what examiners are really testing.
What makes me unique is that I break down complex concepts into simple, logical steps, using real exam-style questions, worked examples, and clear explanations. I help students move away from memorisation and towards real understanding — which leads to better marks and less stress.
