About Soham
I’m a practicing Graphic Designer with 6+ years of professional experience and an MFA in Communication Design from Pratt Institute (New York). I currently work in an agency environment where I primarily design brand identities and visual systems, but my work also spans websites, apps, packaging and social media campaigns. I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects involving global companies such as Google and Amazon, along with startups and growing businesses. I don’t teach software as isolated tools — I teach how designers actually think.

Depending on your goals, we can cover Design fundamentals (layout, typography, hierarchy, color systems) , Branding & identity design, Logo development and visual language creation, Design systems and consistency across platforms, Portfolio development and critique, Real-world project workflow (brief → research → concept → execution → presentation). Instead of random exercises, you will work on actual projects — either hypothetical briefs or your own real project. By the end, you will have work you can confidently show in a portfolio or use in your business.
This course is especially useful for Design students who feel college is not teaching the professional process, early designers preparing for internships or agency jobs and startup founders and business owners building their brand or product.

Great teacher. Soham has a lot of knowledge about photography and operating different kinds of cameras. Very patient when giving feedback and suggestions on how to improve my skills.
Soham is one of my best friends, and we both share a love for photography. What I love about his teaching style is that he gets you interested in photography by talking about its history, explaining the physics behind it, and really creating that sense of wonder within you. No-one else I know quite teaches that way, so I highly recommend learning photography from him!
