About Iris
As a violin tutor with a BM in Music Education and over 7 years of experience, I specialize in developing skilled, confident musicians. I direct youth orchestras, string ensembles, and group violin classes, with a strong focus on chamber music. My expertise includes section leadership, ensemble tuning, and team musicianship. I have worked with schools, community centers, and chamber groups to provide students with meaningful performance experiences. I help ensembles develop listening skills, communication, and expressive musicality. Every rehearsal emphasizes collaboration, precision, and shared interpretation. Ensemble playing teaches patience, empathy, and teamwork. I guide students toward confident, polished performances. I love seeing musicians grow together and achieve as a group. Music is a collective journey, and I help students find joy in making it together.
