About Zara

As a math tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics, I’ve helped students worldwide prepare for IB and A-Level exams. My lessons focus on making complex ideas simple through conceptual understanding. I teach students to see mathematics as a system of logic rather than memorized rules. By combining diverse problem-solving techniques and structured past paper practice, I help students build solid foundations and exam confidence. Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics are my key strengths. I use real-world applications to bring theory to life. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my methods to suit individual needs. I believe that consistency and curiosity drive success. Together, we’ll turn challenges into milestones and move closer to your academic goals.

Mathematics Tutor | Engaging, Personalized & Concept-Driven Learning

My approach to teaching mathematics is simple: make it engaging, make it personal, and make it meaningful. I use a nurturing and individualized teaching style that ensures every student feels supported, understood, and capable of success.

My lessons blend traditional mathematical concepts with creative and exploratory methods such as logic puzzles, game theory, and real-world applications. This helps students see mathematics not just as a subject, but as a way of thinking that appears in patterns, strategies, and everyday decision-making.

I emphasize the idea that math is everywhere—in games, nature, technology, and problem-solving situations. By connecting abstract ideas to familiar experiences, I help both analytical and creative learners build confidence and enjoy the learning process.

I work closely with supportive parents and guardians to maintain motivation, track progress, and ensure consistent academic development. This collaborative approach helps students stay encouraged and focused on long-term growth.

Students, especially those interested in gaming and strategy, often enjoy discovering how their decision-making skills align with mathematical reasoning. I design lessons that encourage curiosity, strategic thinking, and active participation.
