About Eve
Hello! I’m a violin tutor with more than 8 years of experience and an Associate of Music in String Performance. My specialty is Nordic folk traditions and Klezmer, including Norwegian and Swedish fiddle styles. I enjoy teaching rhythmic bowing, ornaments, and expressive phrasing.
I focus on ear-based learning, improvisation, and repertoire-driven instruction. Folk jam tracks and drone tuners make lessons interactive and lively. Students develop natural timing, phrasing, and stylistic nuance.
Lessons emphasize creative interpretation and technical mastery. We explore ornaments, bowing patterns, and musical expression in each piece. Lessons are personalized, hands-on, and culturally immersive.
I aim to create a welcoming environment for learners at any level. Playing violin becomes a journey through rich musical traditions. Together, we experience the rhythms, sounds, and creativity of folk music.
