About Nikita

I am a Computer Science and AI graduate based in Wellington with a passion for making tricky subjects feel simple and approachable. I have always loved science and math and genuinely enjoy helping younger students discover that these subjects do not have to be intimidating.

I decided to start tutoring because I remember what it felt like to struggle with a concept and then suddenly have it all click. That moment is what I want to create for every student I work with. I bring a calm, friendly and patient energy to every session and I never make anyone feel silly for asking questions.

Outside of tutoring I am deeply interested in technology, artificial intelligence and how we can use these tools to make learning better. I bring that same curiosity and enthusiasm into my lessons, keeping things engaging, relevant and fun.

About the lesson

I am a Computer Science and AI graduate who genuinely enjoys helping high school students get on top of their science and maths subjects. I tutor Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Biology for NCEA Levels 1 through to 3, based in Wellington.

My approach is relaxed and friendly. I break complex concepts down into simple steps and focus on building real understanding rather than just memorising facts. Every lesson is tailored to where you are at and what you need most, whether that is catching up, consolidating, or pushing for Excellence.

Lessons typically run for one hour and can be done in person in Wellington or online to suit your schedule. I am flexible with timing including evenings and weekends.

My sessions are designed for high school students from Year 9 through to Year 13, covering both junior science and maths as well as all NCEA levels. Whether you are just trying to pass or aiming for top marks, I will meet you at your level and work at your pace.

I am patient, approachable and genuinely invested in helping every student reach their potential. No question is too basic and no goal is too ambitious.
