About Robert
I love to teach one-on-one with students who are keen to learn, and I have a generally friendly, easy-going nature. I am a Chartered Professional Engineer, with most of my work involved in fire safety, but I also assist clients with height safety and amusement devices (yes, sometimes I get paid to go on amusement rides!).

I love to teach young people to gain a deeper understanding of STEM subjects and why these are important in the real world. I always try and use real world examples from my Engineering career to help you really understand the basis behind the formula or technique and how it's used to build our technological world.
I generally keep lessons to no more than 1 hour and happy to teach from year 9 up to 1st or 2nd year of University.
I have extensive experience in teaching, including current engagements with a tertiary education institution in Auckland and work as an English language teacher in the UK.
