About Cristina
Hi! I’m Cristina, a friendly and patient tutor with a strong academic background in Mathematics and Accounting & Finance.
I understand that Maths can sometimes feel overwhelming or confusing, especially when preparing for exams. My aim is to make difficult topics easier to understand and help students build confidence in their abilities.
I can help with:

Having studied Mathematics at university, I have developed strong problem-solving and analytical skills. I will adapt lessons to each student’s individual needs and learning style, whether they need help understanding the basics, keeping up with classwork, or preparing for an upcoming exam.
I believe learning should be supportive and relaxed, and there is no such thing as a silly question! My goal is to help students feel more confident and comfortable with Maths while making steady progress towards their goals.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, goals and learning style. Before focusing on new topics, I like to understand which areas the student finds challenging and build a clear plan to help them improve.
I explain Maths step-by-step and break down difficult concepts into simpler, more manageable parts. Lessons can include working through examples together, practising questions, revising specific topics, completing homework and preparing for exams.
I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and help them develop a better understanding of Maths.
