About Julia
My name is Julia and I am currently studying law at the University of Exeter. I am Italian and Australian, but grew up in France! I attended a French speaking school for primary and switched to an international school to complete my IGCSEs and IB, in which I got 41. I am familiar with tutoring young children, as well as interested adults, or struggling teenagers. Having had difficulties concentrating in middle and high school, I understand how one can seek for extra support from tutors, whether that be for some extra motivation, an ensured full hour of productivity, or even to go over something the student did not understand in school. I also have experienced using a tutor to simply pursue my interest in Spanish, without any scholastic goal, and am more than happy to help if you are trying to learn or improve your French.

In the comfort of your own homes, I can virtually teach you whatever you would like to discuss, attempt, learn, or perfect in French. This can be at any level, whether you are a beginner wanting to learn how to communicate and understand the language orally, or if you are preparing for your A levels and need some extra help in a particular area, or just generally more practice in the language. I have had five years of previous experience tutoring virtually as well as in person to students as young as 3. I am a kind-hearted, understanding person, who can work at whatever pace suits you best. As someone with concentration difficulties, I am aware of how easily one can be distracted, so I know how to adapt to different people's way of learning, and ensure to have constant engagement throughout the lesson. The duration of a lesson would typically be of 1 hour, however, I am flexible to work for longer or shorter periods of time. These lessons could take place regularly (ie: weekly; bi-weekly...), as well as irregularly, as one-off slots whenever requested.
