About Alice

I am a dedicated sixth form student who will be entering Year 13 in September, currently studying A Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. I offer tutoring in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at GCSE level, as well as Mathematics and Science for KS3 students.

Having achieved nine Grade 9s at GCSE, I have a strong academic foundation and a thorough understanding of the exam specifications and the techniques needed to succeed. Alongside my studies, I have gained a year's experience working for a tutoring company, where I helped prepare students for the 11+ entrance examinations. This experience has strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas in a clear, patient and engaging way while adapting my teaching style to suit each student's individual needs.

In addition, I run maths clubs and maths clinics at my school, where I regularly support students with challenging topics, homework and exam preparation. These roles have given me valuable experience in building students' confidence and helping them develop independent problem-solving skills.

About the lesson

My lessons are carefully planned and tailored to each student's goals, whether they are aiming to improve their understanding of core concepts, build confidence, or achieve the highest grades in their exams. I intend to tackle areas of weakness through structured lessons that focus on understanding the material and applying it to exam style questions. I also focus on developing effective revision strategies, mathematical reasoning and exam technique, ensuring students not only understand the content but also know how to apply their knowledge under exam conditions.
As a current student, I understand the challenges that today's GCSE and KS3 students face and can relate to their learning experience. My aim is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing confidence in their abilities. I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential and making learning enjoyable as well as rewarding
