About Mpho
Hello! My name is Mpho, and I am a passionate, patient and supportive English tutor. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, have completed a 120-hour TEFL certification, and have experience supporting learners through teaching and tutoring.
I believe that learning English should be an enjoyable and encouraging experience. My teaching style is relaxed, friendly and student-centred, while still maintaining a professional and structured approach. I create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions, practise freely and build confidence without being afraid of making mistakes.
I tailor my lessons to each student’s individual needs, goals and learning level. Whether you want to improve your conversational English, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing or comprehension, I will work with you to develop the skills you need.
In a typical lesson, we will begin with a short conversation or review before moving into the main topic. I use practical examples, discussions, role-plays, questions and interactive activities to encourage active participation. I also provide constructive feedback and guidance throughout the lesson so that you can clearly see your progress.
I teach in English and welcome beginner, elementary, intermediate and upper-intermediate learners. My lessons are suitable for students who want to improve their everyday communication, academic English, workplace communication or overall confidence.
