About DAVID
I am a recent graduate who just completed their Master of Science in renewable energy engineering at the University of Exeter. I am easy-going, friendly and would be very happy to teach any of the three sciences or Maths. I have always been very interested in these subjects and have done all of them during A-Levels myself. As someone who has already been through the process and proceeded to join the University of Edinburgh, I am someone that knows the material and understands the marking system. My aim is to teach students to the best of my ability to make learning easier, more enjoyable and help them go to their desired universities and have a good future. One of my skills is that I am capable of making complex matters easier to understand. I am very patient and good at explaining. It also helps, that I have a high level of interest in the subject, so you will not be bored! I have known David for three years since I met him at the University of Edinburgh Library. We spent a lot of time studying together and I could see that he is a very hard working and resilient person. David worked hard and has spent entire days in the library studying engineering. Aside from focusing on his work, he helped me with my thesis by proof reading and correcting my work. David is very independent and is also willing to help others. He knows how to manage and allocate time for others in his already busy schedule. He always aims for perfection as could be seen when he provided me with advice for improvement on my work. He also helps others in his class and steps up for group projects. He is a disciplined person who balances sports in his daily routine. Aside from this, he is a very uplifting person and displays a large range of interests, particularly in science.
I have known David since the first year of university seven years ago. Both of us shared a lot of subjects in common so I could see how he went through university. I could see he has great tutoring skills as he is very articulate with his explanations. He helped many other students in class when supplementary information was needed. In addition, he is a kind person with a lot of positivity which allows him to adapt to a range of personalities (even when explaining to multidisciplinary groups). He develops a deep understanding for the material he studies which allows him to energetically teach his peers. He is a quick learner and capable of absorbing material very quickly as he demonstrated on many occasions. This can be seen even in his time of A-levels where he took on four subjects and achieved good grades in all of them. To complement all this, he is very punctual and well planned when it came to deadlines and is a person that would give his all for either individual or group projects.
