About Simone

Hi, I'm Simone! I specialise in secondary English, VCE English and VCE English Language, as well as Maths and Biology.

I have a Bachelor of Science (Genetics and Psychology) and a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy). You might say I love to learn, and hopefully that enthusiasm rubs off on you!

I believe that confidence makes a huge difference to how students approach their schoolwork. I love helping students recognise their strengths, overcome challenges and develop the skills to become more independent learners.

I've worked with students across all levels of secondary school, helping them improve their grades, build confidence in their abilities and develop more effective study habits.

My approach is friendly, patient and encouraging. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and tackling things they previously found intimidating.

About the lesson

Every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to your individual strengths, interests and goals.

Whether you're working on essay writing, text analysis, analytical commentaries, understanding course content or preparing for assessments and exams, I'll help you identify the specific skills you need to improve.

I break challenging tasks into smaller, manageable steps, making difficult concepts easier to understand and coursework feel less daunting.

For VCE students, I place particular emphasis on understanding assessment criteria and what examiners are looking for, so you can approach SACs and exams with greater confidence.

My goal isn't simply to help you get better marks. It's to give you the tools to become a more confident, capable and independent student.

Simone is a fantastic tutor! She's friendly, patient and really good at breaking down difficult concepts into manageable steps. She explains things clearly and makes lessons enjoyable. I've become much more confident in my abilities and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for extra support with their studies.
