About Alanna
Hello! My name is Alanna, and I am a university student who is passionate about languages. In secondary school, I learned French, German and Croatian while studying Spanish in my own time. At university, I am now studying Mandarin Chinese and planning to move to China for a year abroad. As the first language I learned, French has always been special to me, and I hope to use my skills to spread my passion. I have competed in French debate competitions and worked as an assistant at a French language immersion summer program. My lessons focus on oral skills and are generally taught in French. I also offer help with writing and grammar. My method is targeted at functionality, learning vocabulary in action rather than memorising from lists.
My lessons are most suitable for secondary school students, but also ideal for anyone preparing for DELF exams up to the B2 level.
